Have you guys ever heard of the word “Duopoly”?

Yahoo, Microsoft and AOL have inked a deal to provide “each other’s premium, non-reserved online display inventory to their respective advertising customers” in the United States.

The deal is apparently not meant to erode the autonomy of the ad display business of any of the three companies involved. It appears that the objective of the agreement is to put them in a position to compete with the reigning King of the Internet: Google.
