Fox Cheats Liger: Napoleon Dynamite Producers suing Fox

Fox Searchlight allegedly owes Napoleon Pictures, the producers of the 2004 indie hit film Napoleon Dynamite, for underreported royalties and improper deductions.  The lawsuit was filed on August 30th in Los Angeles Supreme Court and the producers also claim there was a breach of contract and negligent misrepresentation with respect to other income from the film. The production company is asking for $10 million. Now that’s a lot of tots.
