Squaring out your Business

Squaring out your Business

No, really, it’s an app called “Square” which has the potential to make the old-fashioned cash register, or even modern business operating systems, obsolete. Because it is still a service, it relies on Square’s individualized card reader for swiping credit cards and charges 2.75% per transaction using Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. But a major upside is that for many retailers, sales data isn’t readily available until a long receipt is printed out at the end of the day. But with “Square,”  business owners can access sales data immediately from the browser. How convenient!
